Taxes are collected in the states of UT and LA

Taxes are collected for orders shipping within the states of UT and LA. Pickleball Effect is associated with and fulfills out of those locations and state laws dictate that we collect sales tax for purchases made within those states.

Taxes in all other states

While Pickleball Effect does not currently collect sales or use tax in other states, purchases made on Pickleball Effect are NOT necessarily exempt from sales or use tax. Laws vary state by state and many require purchasers in a given state to file a sales or use tax return at the end of the year. You should report all non-taxed purchases and pay tax on those purchases. Any information about how your state collects taxes should be found on your state’s Department of Revenue website.
