The CRBN¹ 16 mm pickleball paddle features a raw T700 carbon fiber face with a honeycomb polypropylene core. Not only does it produce insane amounts of spin, but it also helps with the size of the sweet spot creates an even bounce across the face.

The CRBN¹ weighs an average of 8.0 ounces to give you the stability you need at the net for blocking and returning hard-hit balls. The elongated shape allows for great court coverage which will set you up to return anything your opponent can throw at you, and the extra length on the handle allows just enough room for a two-handed backhand drive.

Our Review

These paddles played absolutely amazing and definitely lived up to the hype, especially the 16 mm version. One aspect of these paddles that made them stand out was the spin. The 16 mm gave me more spin than any other paddle that I’ve played. I was getting noticeably more dip on my drives and drops. This fueled me with confidence to drive the ball and go for it more often and I found success doing it!

I’m classifying the 16 mm version as a control paddle. I liked its soft feel and the control it gave me though I was surprised by the pop it produced as well. Though it’s not a power paddle, it certainly had more than I expected that nearly lifted it out of the control category.

It’s one downside is its average sized sweet spot. It’s certainly manageable, especially for intermediate to higher level players, but I’ve played more forgiving elongated paddles.

The bottom line: This paddle has some offensive capability with its high spin rating and extra reach and it had a pleasant soft feel that helped me control the ball. The sweet spot was a bit tighter than I would have liked, though.

Manufacturer Warranty

CRBN paddles are guaranteed against workmanship and manufacturer defects for 120 days from purchase with activation of warranty through the registering of the paddle with CRBN. Paddles should be registered within the first 14-days of purchase. The warranty is not transferable after registration and only applies to the original owner. 

What is not covered by the warranty? 

  • Normal wear and tear, abuse and negligence. This includes the grip, edge or edge guard and face materials.
  • Any modifications made to the paddle.
  • Fading of graphics.
  • Hitting other objects (other than the pickleball) such as the ground or other paddles (this can weaken the paddle or loosen the trim).
  • Not being the original purchaser.
  • Used in commercial applications or rentals.

CRBN holds the sole discretion to determine whether a damaged paddle is covered under warranty. Replacement paddles are not covered under warranty.
