SPARTUS Olympus

The Spartus Olympus, a 14mm paddle with a unique foam-filled “Ascension Core,” enhances power without the typical overheating and breakage issues of foam cores. This technology results in a denser, less flimsy paddle with a consistent feel, and while not completely immune to breakage, it is more durable than other foam-heavy paddles.

It provides ample pop for aggressive shots but doesn’t feel overwhelming, making it easier to control than many power-focused 14mm paddles. It excels at the net, allowing for quick hands and sharp counters.

Despite its 14mm core, the Olympus has an above average sweet spot for a 14mm though I still added some weight to prevent some twisting in the hands that I experienced.

The Olympus has a satisfyingly “full” feel upon impact, with less of a drop-off in feel towards the edges. This contributes to its overall control and playability. It’s maneuverable and fast in hand, making it ideal for players who prioritize quick reactions and aggressive net play.

Overall, the Spartus Olympus offers a compelling blend of approachable power, decent control, and feel, making it a viable option for players seeking maneuverability and a power paddle that doesn’t require expert-level skill to control.
