The Pursuit Pro lineup by Engage is a spectacular power series. Their most powerful being the MX. It has an elongated shape and thinner core that gives it a little more pop than the other paddles in the series. 

This is the third iteration of the series and it’s the best they’ve made. They updated the facing material and grit and it’s now a top tier spin paddle which was missing from their past models.

What makes this paddle so good and unique is that it doesn’t have the firm, hard feel associated with most power paddles. Instead, it has a denser, soft feel that’s typically associated with control oriented paddles. This gives you a unique combo of power and a pleasant feel that makes it easier to connect with.

It does have a slightly head heavy design so it’s not as quick as others, but Engage gives you a few weight options and we like the (lite) version the best.

Engage also has this same paddle design in a standard shape called the Pursuit EX if that’s more your style.

The bottom line: This paddle offers all the power and spin you need to attack and win with a more approachable, softer feel.
